What are the Prizes?
Depending on the Design Challenge you win, you will receive at least one or more of the following: cash, free apparel, gift certificates and “Mystery gifts.”
You will be invited to be INTERVIEWED so the community can meet you.
You will also be entered in our annual raffles. You might win original airbrushed T-Shirts and full-size mannequins and paintings!
We will promote you on our website (unless you object).
We will link your homepage with ours (unless you object).
We will include your biography and website on each T-Shirt with your Design on it (unless you object).
As the site grows we will offer the winners even more!
That sounds great, but can you please be more specific?
Certainly! Hold on to your hat!
At least one (1) winner will be chosen each month, in each category, for their original submission(s). Each prize package may be worth over $4,000.00.
For example, if your Design is chosen, you will receive:
- $1.00 (U.S.) for every shirt sold. (up to $2,000)
- One (1) Limited Edition T-Shirt that features your design on it ($30 value!)
- Unlimited # of items that feature your design on it at 50% of Retail.
- Two-for-One www.FitPacking.com Trip ($1,575 value!) (equipment, travel, and other costs not included)
- Mystery Prizes (such as a Limited Edition CD of an awesome band)
Winner is also eligible to receive $500.00 Milestone Award (see below)
At least one (1) winner will be chosen to win the SPONSOR’S THEME award. Each prize package is worth thousands of dollars and will/may include:

MILESTONES:
In addition to the prizes being awarded, Designers will receive a $500.00 Code Creations Gift Certificate if we ever decide to print more than 2,000 items with their original Design on them.
Cash prizes are paid via Pay Pal account. Code Creations is not responsible for any taxes, fees, charges or duties.
What are the Mystery gifts?
Random packages that leave our warehouse include clues and gifts. Winners might find themselves as the proud owner of an Indie Band’s CD, or a custom-airbrushed T-Shirt or Clues to a Hidden Treasure, or a delicious and nutritious protein bar or organic tea bag(s) or organic, fair-trade coffee sample, or healthy gum, or some environmentally-responsible beauty product(s), or an organic chocolate bar or some seeds for your pots or garden or holiday cards, travel brochure, bookmarks, coupons and more!
Some Mystery Gifts are strictly reserved for winners of our Design Challenges, while others will go out randomly to anyone who orders from our website. So don’t forget to check your package to see if there is a FREE PRIZE INSIDE!
Animals get gifts, too!
Throughout the year, we donate a % of profits to our favorite non-profit organizations that focus on animal welfare, rescue & adoption.
Why don’t you guys just give one prize like other sites do?
Well, I don’t like to think Code Creations is like other sites. Sure, I guess I would like to pay people a gazillion bucks, but most people just go off and pay bills with that (not like there’s anything wrong with that). But I figure you’re doing something kind of unorthodox here — entering a competition to win a prize — so the prize should be something cool. Right now I’m giving away lots of cool T-Shirts and “Mystery Gifts” and a 2-4-1 www.FitPacking.com Trip, and eventually we hope to offer bigger and better prizes packages, but for now, I’m interested in giving away unique and fun prizes — and some $$$ — and having some fun. Aren’t you?
How many winners are there?
Unless we get some submissions that are absolutely dreadful, there will always be at least one (1) winner for each Design Challenge.
We don’t hold them every month, but when we do there will always be at least one (1) winner for the Inspired Design Challenge, at least one (1) winner for the Slogan Challenge, and at least one (1) winner for the K-9 Design Challenge.
Throughout the year we may also choose certain Designs that did not win any of our Design Challenges. These will become part of our own Code Creations Collection and the artists will be paid the same amount we pay artists who we commission to create Designs for our shirts. Either way, the Designer(s) will be notified and the Designer(s) will receive $1.00 for every item sold with their Design on it, up to $500 cash and a $250 Gift Certificate redeemable at Code Creations.
Throughout the year we may also hire Designers to create original Designs for our Code Creatures or other Collections. The Designer(s) will either be paid up-front or they will receive $1.00 for every item sold with their Design on it (up to $500 cash and a $250 Gift Certificate redeemable at Code Creations. )
That’s $750. How come not $2,000 like the others?
Good question. Simply put, because the artist will certainly see their designs printed on apparel. There is no risk for them because we hired them. Obviously if an artist enters a design competition or challenge, there is a chance the artist may or may not win.
Oh, and by the way, they will also be interviewed and that interview will be published on this website. Their biography will also appear on the left sleeve of every T-Shirt we print with their design on it, and they will also receive “Mystery Gifts.” Pretty nifty, huh?
How do I win?
Well, first you have to enter as many awesome designs as you want to — as long as they are not presently entered in another Design competition, and never won any other Design competition before.
Winning designs are determined by a combination of voting results, participant comments, and Code Creations staff and judges. Most prizes are distributed to the winning designer within thirty (30) days from the time final artwork is received. Cash prizes are paid via Pay Pal account and are distributed quarterly, for the duration of one (1) full year after the Design is accepted.
